Are you interested in serving on our Board?

Love your library? The Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier is seeking two new board members to help advance our mission of empowering community members to become lifelong learners. This is an exciting time of growth and opportunity at the library.

We have two positions open on our board beginning in September 2025 and January 2026. One position must be filled by a Montpelier resident while the other may be filled by someone from any of the six towns we serve (Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Montpelier, Worcester). Candidates with experience in communications/marketing and/or financial management are especially encouraged to apply.

The Board’s role is to advise, govern, oversee policy and strategic direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library to support our mission and needs. Trustees should expect to spend 4-6 hours per month on Board matters.
