Monday Meditation

November 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Come join us in the Children’s Library at 6:00 p.m. every Monday for a 30-minute silent sit followed by a short reading or recording based on the teachings of Theravada Buddhism–the earliest form of Buddhism. Meditation has been shown to reduce stress, strengthen the ability to focus, and improve emotional and physical well-being. Beginners and experienced practitioners alike are welcome.
