The KHL Book Shop Is Now Fully Open in the Basement!
We’re excited to share that the KHL Book Shop has officially moved into its permanent home in the library’s basement! If you’ve enjoyed browsing the temporary book sale in our Reading Room over the past year, you’re in for a treat.
Now, you’ll find two rooms full of books of all genres and age groups, plus DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks — all ready for you to explore.
Open During All Library Hours
The KHL Book Shop is open whenever the library is open. Whether you’re searching for your next great read, a weekend movie, or a soundtrack to enjoy, you’ll find something for everyone — and at a great price!
All items are $1–$4, unless specially marked (such as box sets or high-value items).
A Work in Progress
You may notice that there’s still some construction happening in the space. We’re continuing to improve the shop with additional shelving and future seating areas. It will take a little more time before it’s exactly the cozy, well-stocked space we envision — but we’re excited for you to watch it grow along with us!

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers who helped make the Book Shop possible. Over the past few months, they’ve sorted and organized thousands of items. Thanks to their hard work, we now have a welcoming shop for our community to enjoy!
