KHL is thrilled to announce we have joined the Catamount Library Network and are live on a new library system as of December 16!
What does this means for our users?
- View and request more than 650,000 items from nearly 30 libraries around Vermont,
directly from our online catalog - Search digital collections, including Libby, from our online catalog – viewing ebooks and audiobooks side-by-side with physical items
- Accessible and user-friendly interface
As part of the transfer, your catalog password changed to the last 4 digits of your phone number. Please log in with that info and then update to your preferred password.

1/6/25 Update:
We launched our new catalog system just a couple of weeks ago, and we are very excited by the results so far. Now when you search our catalog, you will see items from the KHL collection and items available to you from the other libraries in the Catamount Library Network, as well as ebooks and audiobooks that you can borrow digitally! When you request an item, the next available copy of that item will be pulled from its home library and sent to KHL for you to pick up as seamlessly as any in-house request. (Interlibrary loan is still an option for items that are not available within CLN, as long as they were published at least six months ago; and if it’s a new item you’re looking for, make a purchase request here!)
With the new system, the default password to access your account online is the last four digits of the phone number on the account. Log in to reset your password, request or renew items, or to save your reading history. Use the same login for other digital services like Libby for ebooks and digital magazines, or Biblio+ for streaming. Please contact us if you have any questions!
