Winterfest Puzzle Race

Overview:

Join us for a fun and fast-paced Speed Puzzling Competition where teams race to complete a jigsaw puzzle the fastest! Compete in either the Beginner or Advanced category for a chance to win prizes and enjoy a fun-filled event with friends and family.

Eligibility:

Each team may consist of up to 4 participants.

• Advanced Teams.
  • Puzzle Size: 500 pieces.
• Beginner Teams:
  • Puzzle Size: 300 pieces.

Registration:

Registration is required and can be done in three ways:

• Online (below!).
• At the front desk in advance of the event.
• On the morning of the event, but please note that space is limited and it’s first come, first served, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot!

Basic Rules:

Puzzle Setup:

The organizer will place the competition puzzles on tables, ensuring that the box image is not visible to the participants.

Start Time:

All teams should arrive at the library by 10:15 am.
All teams will start at the exact same time at 10:30am. When the race begins, teams may open their puzzle box and begin assembling the puzzle.

End of the Race:

The competition ends when the first three teams finish the entire puzzle. In the event that no team finishes within the set time limit (2 hours), the team that completes the most pieces or sections will be declared the winner.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each puzzle size:

• 1st place – $75 gift card to Woodbury Mountain Toys
• 2nd place – $50 gift card to Woodbury Mountain Toys
• 3rd place – $25 gift card to Woodbury Mountain Toys
