Proud Little State Comic Launch

Proud Little State is a new series of short comics on LGBTQ+ topics in Vermont’s past and present. Join us for the release of the second issue, drawn by White River Junction artist Juniper Kim, about the battle for civil unions in Vermont. The launch party will include snacks, artmaking, a display of objects from the VT Queer Archives, and the chance to add your own memories and stories to the archives. Plus, pick up your free copy of the new comic!

Proud Little State is a project of UVM’s Center for Research on Vermont; the UVM Gender, Sexuality, & Women’s Studies program; Vermont Folklife; and the Vermont Queer Archives. Issue #2 was created with grant support from Vermont Humanities.
