- Anyone who has trouble accessing the Library via the front entrance should use the School Street entrance.
- We have elevator access to all three floors.
- The Public computer in our front reading room has a height adjustable desk.
- All main areas of the Library have automatic, button activated doors.
- We are happy to help patrons reach items that are shelved in high or low places; just ask at the circulation desk!
- We offer home delivery for eligible patrons.

All of our computers have screen magnifiers and text readers as part of their operating systems.

Vermont’s A.B.L.E. Library
In addition to the large print, audiovisual and braille items in our own collection, the Kellogg-Hubbard Library connects to Vermont’s A.B.L.E. Library.
The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, in partnership with the VT Department of Libraries provides:
- Large print books,
- Print braille books
- Digital talking books
- Audio-described DVDs
to people with:
- Temporary or permanent low vision
- Blindness
- Any physical disability that prevents them from reading or holding the printed page.
This service is offered regardless of age, economic circumstances or technical expertise. Materials can be mailed to your door for free or downloaded instantly. Ask about this service at the circulation desk, or find more information here.
