Director of Library Services Departs Kellogg-Hubbard Library After Distinguished Service
MONTPELIER, VT – The Kellogg-Hubbard Library announced today that Director of Library Services Carolyn Picazio is departing the Library after distinguished ten-year tenure to become the Library Director at the Waterbury (VT) Public Library. Working with the Executive Director, Picazio managed all aspects of daily library services, including technology, collection development, and patron services. She has also helped mentor and develop our talented staff of librarians.
Picazio began her tenure at the Kellogg-Hubbard in August 2016 and has played an integral role in the growth and success of the Library. She has overseen the development of two strategic plans that have guided the organization over the last several years and was crucial to the Library’s response to both the COVID-19 pandemic and the Flood of 2023.
“Carolyn has given 110% to the Library, and she will be sorely missed,” said Dan Groberg, Executive Director. “Her adept management of the daily operations of the Library has allowed us to thrive. We are proud of Carolyn for her continued professional growth stepping into the Waterbury position and look forward to continuing to work with her in this new role.”
