At the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, we’ve created a welcoming space where people can discover new ideas and build meaningful connections. Our library has become a sanctuary for many, including a young patron and Shakespeare Camp participant named Elisheba. She recently made a donation of $0.41 and included a note with her heartfelt reflection:

“I love your library. It has helped me make friends, get involved in the community, and inspired my passion for reading. Your library is a place where I feel safe and calm… If I had never interacted with your library, I would never have discovered my hobby in acting.”

Her words encapsulate the magic that happens within our walls, a reminder of the profound impact libraries have on lives.

Thanks to the support of our donors, we have diversified our collections and programs, expanded our digital services, launched a new website that prioritizes accessibility, and expanded our reach in all six towns we serve. Our exciting upcoming partnership with Elevate Youth Services will bring an after-school teen drop-in space to the library. This is not just about books; it’s about ensuring that every member of our community sees themselves reflected in our shelves and our programs.

With your help, we can continue to create a library where everyone feels represented and valued. Please consider making a gift to support the library today. Every gift allows us to create a welcoming haven for all who walk through our doors.

The Library is Closed on November 28 & 29 for Thanksgiving Break
