Flood the Streets with Art

The Montpelier Senior Activity Center, along with Montpelier Alive, the Center for Arts & Learning, the T.W. Wood Gallery, and Kellogg-Hubbard Library, are excited to announce Flood The Streets With Art, a celebration of the one-year anniversary of the 2023 Montpelier flood.
This community event will take place on Wednesday, July 17th in downtown Montpelier. To take part, participants must register between 9 am and 4 pm at the registration tent by Christ Church (64 State Street, Montpelier). There, folks will be assigned a section of sidewalk to draw on. Chalk will be provided, and there is no cost to participate. At eight locations around downtown, professional artists will be selected to create their interpretation of Montpelier’s resilience since the flood.
We will also have live music and dance performances to accompany the artwork.
