Creating Our Own Book Covers: A Hands-On Workshop for Self-Exploration

For the second part of our Just Like a Book, More Than My Cover series, we invite you to a special interactive workshop where you’ll craft your own book covers—infused with personal story descriptions that offer deep insight into your own unique narrative. This creative session, led by Vermont-based artist Ferene Paris is designed to spark heartfelt conversations and self-reflection. This session will allow you to explore the ways your inner and outer selves intersect.

In this hands-on workshop, attendees will collaborate on a creative art project, constructing book themed art that visually and textually represent their identities. Using a variety of artistic mediums, each participant will have the opportunity to craft and share their personal stories, reflecting on how they see themselves and how they want to be seen by others. This session is about fostering connection, encouraging self-exploration, and celebrating the diversity of our experiences.
