
4-H Babysitting Clinic

This two-day class helps middle school and teenaged youth learn what it takes to be a responsible,
caring, trustworthy, competent, capable and safe babysitter. Through role-playing, discussion and
hand-on activities, youth will learn about:
Child Development Stages
Positive discipline
Safety and emergency preparedness
Basic First Aid
Food and nutrition
The business of babysitting
The free event is open to all youth ages 11 – 18 thanks to support from the Washington County 4-H Foundation.
Must be able to come to both days. Saturday, March 8 and 15th 10am-2pm in the Hayes Room.
Preregistration required by February 24.
